Angus Cloud No More ,Euphoria’s rising star Angus Cloud dies at the age of 25

Angus Cloud, a 25-year-old actor best known for playing heroin dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in the HBO series “Euphoria,” has died.

His publicist, Cait Bailey, announced that Cloud passed away on Monday at his family’s Oakland, California, home, as reported by AP. The reason of death, however, was not made public.

In a moving statement, Cloud’s family said goodbye to their valued member and remembered him as a son, brother, and friend in addition to being an artist, according to AP.

He buried his father last week and reportedly struggled greatly with the grief. The knowledge that Angus is now back with his father, who was his best friend, is the only solace we can find. We hope that Angus’ dying will serve as a reminder to others that they are not in this struggle alone and should not go through it in silence as he was open about it.

His family said, “We hope the world remembers him for his wit, laughter, and love for everyone.”

Angus Cloud has no acting experience previous to “Euphoria,” his first acting job. Casting scout Eléonore Hendricks happened to run upon him when she was strolling around New York’s streets. At first, Cloud was cautious because he thought it may be a fraud, according to AP.

He was finally given the opportunity to co-star with Zendaya in the show for its first two seasons, though, after meeting with casting director Jennifer Venditti and series creator Sam Levinson.

According to AP, several people believed that Cloud and the character, Fez, were one and the same because of his convincing interpretation of the role. Cloud, who insisted that he was different from the persona he played, rejected this idea.

When people say things like, “It must be so simple! You are free to enter and be who you are. ‘Why don’t you go and do that,’ I say. It’s not that easy, according to Cloud,” said Variety. I significantly influenced the character. What you believe is up to you. I have nothing to do with it.

The third season of “Euphoria” hasn’t yet started production, though.

No one was quite like Angus, according to a statement from Levinson. He was just too wonderful, brilliant, and young to leave us too soon. Like many of us, he too battled addiction and despair. I wish he was aware of the number of hearts he won over. I admired him. I will always. God bless his family and may he rest in peace.

According to AP, quoting HBO, Cloud was described as “immensely talented and a beloved member of the HBO and “Euphoria” family” in a statement. We offer his friends and family our sincere sympathies during this trying time.
